PIN issued for Henry Royce Institute laboratories fit-out project in Manchester

The University of Manchester has launched a prior information notice (PIN) regarding the fit-out works of Laboratories and Offices at level 6 of Henry Royce Institute located in Manchester. The motive of the PIN is to initiate pre-market engagement and provide advance notification to the marketplace for the project. The scope of works involves the following provision in three laboratories: 23nr. fume cupboards (inclusive of 6nr walk-in fume cupboards); 14nr. extraction arms; emergency shower; various wash hand basins with emergency eyewash stations; LN2 gas storage; laboratory equipment (c.100 items); and laboratory furniture.

The project is receiving up to GBP 3 million (US$ 3.77 million) of funding from the England European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The estimated investment value for the project is GBP 4 million (US$ 5.03 million).

The contract notice for the project is expected to be published on June 08, 2020.
