Worthing Borough Council has issued a Prior Information Notice (PIN) exploring market interest from potential bidders to finance, design, build, operate, and maintenance of a heat network in Worthing town centre. The Heat network will assist Worthing Borough Council to meet its declared aim to be carbon-neutral by 2030 and to assist the city of Worthing to decarbonise by 2050.
The contract notice for the project is expected to be announced on October 01, 2021. The council is hosting a market engagement event on March 11, 2020. More information can be found here.
