The Department of Transportation (DOTr) in the Philippines has announced intentions to reopen the bidding process for the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) redevelopment concession. NAIA is located between the cities of Pasay and Parañaque in the Philippines.

The authority will explore the possibility to award the contract on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The redevelopment works will be carried out in two phases, phase 1 includes improvements and expansion of the existing terminals in the current NAIA land area and phase 2 will cover the development of an additional runway, taxiways, passenger terminals and associated support infrastructure.
