The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has extended its technical assistance to the PPP Center and the Province of Negros Occidental in the Philippines to develop a bulk water supply project through a public-private partnership (PPP) modality.
The assistance includes capacity building and project preparation advisory services. The ADB will provide participants with the knowledge and skills for the preparation of procurement documents for solicited bulk water supply and septage PPP projects.
The bulk water supply project involves the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of a bulk water supply facility. The project aims to address the increasing water demand in Negros Occidental by developing surface water as a sustainable source of potable and resilient water supply.
