ProInversion in Peru has attracted interest from companies across the world to deliver hospital infrastructure in Piura and Nuevo Chimbote.
Earlier in 2021 the authority launched tendering process for both projects. So far 18 companies have paid participation fees for the Nuevo Chimbote hospital project and 19 companies are interested in the Piura hospital project. The concessions are being procured under the design, financing, construction, equipment, operation, and maintenance (DBFOM) model.
Nuevo Chimbote will feature a hospital complex with 342 hospital beds and high-tech equipment. More information about this procurement process can be accessed here. The hospital in Piura will have approximately 161 hospital beds as well as additional services such as laundry, food, cleaning, security, hospital waste management, sterilization, logistics services, Clinical Laboratory. The deadline to submit the proposes for both projects is February 25, 2022.
