The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced the resumption of planning work and federal environmental reviews of six bridge replacement projects for the Major bridges public-private partnership (PPP) project in Pennsylvania, USA.
The federal environmental review process will be carried out for the following projects:
Each of the projects is moving forward through the federal environmental review process under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) with Categorical Exclusions (CE) or CE Reevaluations, which will help determine the benefits to the quality of life of society. To advance design work, PennDOT entered a pre-development agreement (PDA) with Bridging Pennsylvania Partners (Macquarie Capital and Shikun & Binui).
