The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is accepting unsolicited proposals from the private sector for transportation projects under the public-private partnership (PPP). The projects or infrastructure should be owned by PennDOT. The private sector can submit proposals related to the delivery of transportation projects across a range of modes, such as roads, bridges, rail, aviation and ports. The projects or infrastructure should be owned by PennDOT. In addition, proposals can also cover more efficient management of existing services or programs in the transportation sector.
The deadline to submit unsolicited proposals is April 30, 2021. Instructions on how to submit a project and information on the unsolicited proposal review process can be found on the state's PPP website, here.
The next unsolicited proposal acceptance period will be in October 2021.
