Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) in the USA has selected Bridging Pennsylvania Partners (BPP) for its Major Bridge Public-Private Partnership initiative to repair or replace up to nine bridges across the state.
The department and BPP will now enter into a pre-development agreement to finalize the design and packaging of the bridges to be built, financed and maintained. BPP is formed by Macquarie Infrastructure Developments LLC, Shikun & Binui Concessions USA Inc, STV Incorporated, FCC Construccion, S.A, Shikun & Binui – America, Inc, SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc., Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc., Joseph B. Fay Company and H&K Group Inc.
The initiative includes the rehabilitation or replacement of selected bridges and all associated infrastructure, including roadway and approach work, improvements to nearby impacted roadways and associated tolling infrastructures, such as gantry structures and toll buildings for each bridge.
