The PennDOT Office of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) has announced that it is accepting unsolicited proposals for transportation projects from the private sector until October 31 in Pennsylvania, USA.
During the submission period, which applies to PennDOT-owned projects and infrastructure, the private sector can propose innovative ways to deliver transportation projects across a variety of modes including roads, bridges, rail, aviation, and ports, including more efficient models to manage the existing transportation-related services and programs.
The PPP Transportation Partnership Board has been appointed to review and approve the potential public and private transport projects and it will authorize proposals to that private company and conduct contracting for the operation. The next phase of accepting unsolicited proposals from PennDOT will begin in April 2023.
