PATRIZIA has invested in the Kenosha FiberCity fiber network project in Wisconsin, USA.
Kenosha FiberCity will be funded through the investment from PATRIZIA’s Smart Cities Infrastructure Fund (SCIF), which is an investment vehicle funded by Dutch pension fund manager APG and managed by PATRIZIA Infrastructure on behalf of Dutch pension funds, ABP and PPF APG. SCIF's global investment in smart cities exceeds EUR600 million (US$647 million). Fibre-to-the-premise (FTTP) rollout network is being delivered by SiFi Networks.
The project involves providing high-speed Internet access in Kenosha. The project will provide 10 Gigabit speed to 40,000 Kenosha residents and businesses. By November 2025, it is planned to complete 700 miles of fiber and 56 cabinets. High-speed internet will be vital to supporting the jobs economy in Kenosha. Building smarter cities through innovative digital infrastructure will enable consumers to have more choices of ISPs in Kenosha in the future.
