The Government of Sindh has signed a contract agreement with Enertech Water Private Limited and Meezan bank-led consortium to develop 45 cusec capacity water supply infrastructure from Nabisar to Vajihar in Thal, Sindh.
The consortium will be responsible for the design, build and operation of the water supply as well as a 65 km long pipeline and two large water reservoirs. The estimated investment value for the project is PKR25.50 billion (US$144.46 million).
The consortium is formed by Enertech Water Private Limited, Meezan Bank, National Bank of Pakistan, MCB Bank Limited, Faysal Bank Limited, The Bank of Punjab, Bank Islami Limited and Pak China Investment Company Limited. Habib Bank Limited, United Bank Limited, Meezan Bank Limited, Bank Alfalah Limited and Pak Kuwait Investment Company (Private) Limited provided services as Lead Advisors & Arrangers for the transaction.
