On 15 April 2013, the Government of Pakistan launched two tenders for the development, rehabilitation, commissioning and operation of two hospitals.

Cairns Hospital: Cairns hospital is a 210-bed facility. The Hospital is located right in front of Lahore Railway Station.

The Project entails the development, rehabilitation, commissioning and operation of the Cairns Hospital, Lahore on Rehabilitate-Operate-Transfer (ROT) basis. Under the said transaction the Private Party shall finance the rehabilitation, operation, and transfer of the Hospital for a pre-determined period, which shall not be more than 30 years, under a Concession Agreement.

The potential bidders are required to submit their bids before 15:00 Hours on 15th May 2013. As part of the bidding process a bidders' conference has been planned on 2nd May2013 at 11:00 AM at Pearl Continental (PC) Hotel, Lahore.

Hassan Hospital: Hassan hospital is a 120-bed facility. The Hospital is located in Karachi Cantt.

The Project entails the development, rehabilitation, commissioning and operation of the Hassan Hospital, Karachi on Rehabilitate-Operate-Transfer (ROT) basis. Under the said transaction the Private Party shall finance the rehabilitation, operation, and transfer of the Hospital for a pre-determined period, which shall not be more than 30 years, under a Concession Agreement.

The potential bidders are required to submit their bids before 15:00 Hours on 15th May 2013. As part of the bidding process a bidders' conference has been planned on 3rd May, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Sheraton Hotel, Karachi.
