The Plenary Schools consortium partnered with the Queensland Government has delivered a package of 10 schools across southeast Queensland, Australia.
Over five years, the initiative has successfully introduced new educational institutions in various locations, including Pimpama, Burpengary, Pallara, Ripley Valley, Springfield West, Griffin, Bellbird Park, Caboolture, and Redbank Plains. These consist of two secondary schools and eight primary schools, collectively serving up to 10,000 students. Plenary Schools has undertaken the financing, design, construction, and commissioning of these schools during the five-year delivery phase. Additionally, the company is now responsible for providing facilities management services for the schools for an extended period of 25 years.
The project has established an educational environment conducive to quality, cost-effective, and innovative service delivery, with the adaptability to accommodate both current and future curricular activities. Each of the ten schools incorporates energy-efficient measures to create comfortable learning and teaching spaces, optimizing the use of indoor and outdoor areas to enhance natural light, shade, glare, and temperature efficiencies.
