The city of Lake Oswego in Oregon, USA has signed a preliminary agreement with EPCOR for a new wastewater treatment facility PPP project for Lake Oswego, Oregon. EPCOR will provide design, build, finance, operation, and maintenance services for the project.
The existing Tryon Creek Wastewater Treatment plant was build in 1964 and needed to be upgraded according to current regulatory requirements. The new plant is expected to treat 43.8 million gallons per day (MGD) of wastewater and will provide a cost-effective solution useable by both Portland and Lake Oswego cities.
With this agreement, the authority also authorized US$ 1.4 million in city consulting services over the next 14 months.
