Orion Credit Capital Asia (Orion Capital Asia) has reached the first close of its Fund III with up to US$205 Million of capital commitments.

Orion Capital Asia collaborates with private equity sponsors and local entrepreneurs, offering medium-term secured loans to middle-market businesses traditionally overlooked by conventional banks. These investments, totaling over US$1.5 billion, support growth, acquisitions, and various corporate initiatives across diverse sectors. Orion Capital Asia tailors financing solutions spanning multiple jurisdictions, excluding distressed assets from its investment portfolio. OMERS, the defined benefit pension plan for municipal employees in Ontario, Canada, made an equity investment in Orion Capital Asia in 2020. The success of the fund raising positions Orion well to capture opportunities in middle-market direct lending in the Asia Pacific region.
