Orange Belgium has announced the successful completion of its acquisition of a controlling stake in VOO SA.

Orange Belgium has acquired a 75% stake in VOO SA, with Nethys retaining the remaining 25%. This acquisition follows commercial fixed wholesale agreements between Orange Belgium and Telenet, allowing access to each other's networks for 15 years. The collaboration includes existing Hybrid Fiber Coaxial and future Fiber to the Home technologies. 

Orange Belgium has financed the acquisition of VOO SA, valued at EUR1.8 billion (US$1,934 Million), through an intra-group loan. This demonstrates Orange's dedication to expanding its market presence and leveraging the convergence of telecommunications services.
