Oman Power & Water Procurement Company (OPWP) has extended the bid submission date for commercial proposals for two photovoltaic solar projects, the Manah 1 and 2. Both solar plants will be developed by independent power producers (IPP). The new deadline for the request for proposal (RFP) is May 25, 2021.
RFP was issued to nine prequalified bidders for the development of two solar plants each having a generation capacity between 500 MW to 600 MW.
