The Government of Gujarat in India has announced that the operation of ferry service between Mumbai and Surat will begin from November 2019. The ferry service has 20 air-conditioned rooms and with a capacity of 300 passengers, will operate between Hazira port in Surat and Bandra in Mumbai. The services will be operated once per week. The frequency can be increased in the future based on demand.
