The Government of Ukraine has announced that Grain terminal MV Cargo was officially opened in the port of Pivdenny, Odesa.
The total volume of one-time storage of the Neptune terminal is 290 thousand tons. The design transshipment capacity of the terminal is up to 5 million tons per year. The terminal's capacity is represented by 14 silos of 15 thousand tons each from GSI and a concrete floor warehouse with a total capacity of up to 80 thousand tons of grain. The Cargill company is the builder of the terminal.
The first start-up complex of the terminal was officially put into operation on June 1, 2018. In March 2019, the terminal handled the first million tons of grain.
