Opening of inner-direction of the L2 North

Almost 5 years after the signature of the partnership contract, this opening marks the end of 4 years of intense work for the SRL2 consortium, the north section of the L2 was officially opened to traffic in the A7 to A50 direction on 17th October 2018 at 6.30 AM. L2 is a long-awaited 9.5km connection between two existing urban highways North and South of Marseille, acting as a bypass of the city center. Outer-direction of the L2 will be open to traffic in a week's time.
