Bucharest city hall in Romania has received one bid for an underground car park facility PPP in downtown Bucharest. The consortium comprised of Alpha Parking (leader) and Interparking France is the only bidder for the project.
This project involves design, finance, construction and operation of an underground car park facility in downtown Bucharest. Bucharest is the capital city of Romania. The underground car park will be developed under Dorobati Square. The parking will have two floors and a capacity of 283 parking spaces. The maximum concession period for the project is 49 years including 2 years of construction.
The concessionaire will have the right to collect the revenues resulting from the underground parking activity as well as from possible additional activities carried out inside the parking lot (advertising, commercial activities, services, etc.) provided the legal requirements regarding the carrying out of these activities are met.
