Omaxe Limited is in talks with private equity firms to raise INR 4500 million (US$ 63.37 million) for parking center project spread over 4.5 acres in New Delhi. The project includes the development of a multi-level parking and retail commercial center in Chandni Chowk area, New Delhi. The center will have 2,400 car park spaces and 81 spots for bus parking. The center will be developed having space of 1 million sq ft, out of which 0.25 million sq ft will be dedicated to commercial space. The 0.125 million sq ft out of commercial space will be dedicated to food and beverage services.
The company is said to invest INR 2500 million (US$ 35.20 million) in the project and the remaining sum will be raised from the private equity firms. All necessary permits are already secured by Omaxe. The construction work began on July 2019 and expected to be completed by December 2021.
