Olvia Port concession contract signed

The government of Ukraine has signed the Olvia Port concession with QTerminals. The Olvia Port is located near the black sea on the left bank of the Dnieper-Bug estuary, at a distance of 1.5 miles from Mykolaiv and 37.6 miles from Ochakov. The concession period for the project is 35 years.

The concessionaire will invest approximately US$ 140 million in the first five years, out of which US$ 3.5 million will be utilized to the restoration of the local infrastructure of Mykolaiv. QTerminals will also be responsible for developing new fully-equipped grain terminal, improve existing warehouses, modernize the road and telecommunications networks and all Olvia utilities and buildings, and set up silos and loading equipment for all modes of transportation, such as railway and freight lines.

The availability payment of US$ 3.5 million will be made every year.
