Oklahoma firefighters pension and retirement system in the USA has made the commitment to invest US$ 100 million in IFM Global Infrastructure Fund, a fund managed by IFM Investor. Oklahoma firefighters pension and retirement systems commitment will come from pension fund's 'other assets' portfolio.
IFM invests in core infrastructure assets with strong market positions, high barriers to entry, limited demand elasticity and long lives. In many cases, target assets will also have a link to inflation, through revenues, costs or debt structures and a linkage to economic growth.
