The US Embassy in Morocco held a field visit for rehabilitation projects of industrial zones development at Had Soualem and Sahel Lakhyayta. These projects will be developed under the public-private partnership (PPP) procurement. The industrial zones are part of the Compact II cooperation program.
In the site visit, the officials investigated ongoing off-site construction works for both industrial zones. The off-site works involve the construction of a wastewater STEP treatment plant, which will treat effluents from the activities at the industrial zones.
