Kuwait's Directorate General for Civil Aviation has contracted German consultancy Obermeyer to support the execution of the Kuwait International Airport Development Plan.
The five-year contract hands over to Obermeyer management of all ongoing development works at the airport, such as the construction of a third runway and a new control tower. It also provides for the implementation of planned upgrades, the most important being the western runway.
The aim of the contract is to improve the overall management of the airport and the technical aspects of ongoing and future infrastructure upgrades.
