The National Water Company (NWC) has concluded a long-term contract worth more than SAR 555 Million (US$ 148 million) with the Spanish Aguas de Valencia Company to rehabilitate, operate, and maintain STPs in Taif for 15 years.
The contract involves the rehabilitation, operation, and maintenance of two sewage treatment plants (STPs) in Taif City, with a total capacity of 147,000 m³/day. This initiative aims to bolster the national economy by fostering expansion and growth in the water sector, and by creating opportunities and long-term partnerships with local and international private sector companies.
