The Government of New South Wales in Australia is selling the remaining 49% stake in Sydney's WestConnex motorway. Earlier in 2018 Transurban has purchased a 51% stake in the motorway. The capital raised from the sale will be used to fund transport infrastructure in the state.
The 33 km long WestConnex motorway will allow motorists to travel from Penrith to Sydney without traffic lights.
