The Fort Myers Shores Fire Protection and Rescue Service District (District) has received an unsolicited proposal for the possible construction and financing of a new fire station for the District in Lee County, Florida. The district board of commissioners has determined the project as a 'qualifying project' and has published a Public Notice to invite competing proposals.
The project includes the design and construction of a new fire station structure, a three-story training tower and improvements on the District’s fire station site as well as the financing of the project.
