Northern Hesse launches tender for broadband network project

Breitband Nordhessen, a regional telecoms service provider in Central Germany, has launched a tender for the development of a nationwide broadband network and offering broadband telecommunications services to underserved schools and hospitals in Northern Hesse. 

The selected private partner will construct and operate a full-coverage high-speed network and the provision of end-to-end services in the project area to provide all schools and hospitals in the sub-areas identified below with broadband telecommunications services. Breitband Nordhessen has applied for funding as part of the federal funding program "Funding to Support Broadband Expansion in the Federal Republic of Germany".

The deadline for the submission of documents for the tender is on October 2, 2019.
