Cintra U.S. has announced the “substantial completion” of the US$1.6 billion North Tarrant Express. Under a P3 contract awarded in 2013, the Ferrovial subsidiary has reconstructed 16km of the Interstate 35W in Texas. The road section, which links downtown Fort Worth to North Tarrant Parkway in North Central Texas, is now officially open to the public.
Alongside consortium partners APG Asset Management and Meridiam Infrastructure, Cintra will operate and maintain the road until 2061.
