North Carolina launches RFQ for affordable housing PPP

The Dare County in North Carolina, USA has launched a request for qualifications (RFQ) seeking a private partner for the development of multiple affordable housing projects within the County.

The projects shall include a mix of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom housing units. The authority will issue a US$35 million forgivable loan to the selected developer. The private partner will enter into a 25-year agreement to own and operate the project, with the possibility to renew for additional 5 years.
