Noatum Maritime has announced that it has won a 35-year concession for the construction and exploitation of a solid bulk terminal at the Port of Castellón, located on the Mediterranean coast of Spain, in the Valencian Community.
The terminal will be developed over a plot of 16,425 m2 located in Section II of the Ceramic Pier. It will have a berth line of 210 meters and 12 meters draught.
The project includes the construction of a 6,000m2 warehouse connected to the quayside via a conveyor belt system with capacity for 2,000 tons per hour. Noatum will also undertake civil works to reinforce the quay wall, which will enable the berthing of Panamax sized vessels, and equip the terminal with the most efficient technology to protect the environment.
