NJ Transit plans to develop Northern Bus Garage project in Newark

The NJ Transit has announced an industry forum for the Northern Bus Garage PPP project in Newark, New Jersey, USA. The aim of the virtual event is to invite firms to learn about the project and related partnership opportunities.

The project involves the construction of a new garage 500 bus to provide increased bus storage and maintenance capacity as well as the necessary infrastructure to support the operation and maintenance of a 100% zero-emissions bus fleet. The project will accommodate diesel and zero-emissions buses and necessary charging infrastructure.
