Nine bidders shortlisted for railway line privatization PPP in India

Ministry of Railways (MOR) had invited Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for private participation in the operation of passenger train services over 12 Clusters comprising of more than 150 Origin Destination pair of routes through the introduction of 151 modern Trains. Nine applicants are qualified for participation in the RFP stage for Cluster 9 (Secunderabad) of PPP in Passenger Train Operations Project. The qualified bidders are as follows:

  • Cube Highways and Infrastructure III Pte. Ltd.
  • A consortium of Gateway Rail Freight Limited and Gateway Distriparks Limited
  • GMR Highways Limited
  • Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd.
  • IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited
  • L&T Infrastructure Development Projects Limited
  • A consortium of Malempati Power Private Limited and Techno Infra Developers Pvt Ltd
  • Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd.
  • Welspun Enterprises Limited
