National Investment and Infrastructure Fund Limited (NIIFL) has announced an investment of INR 21 billion (US$ 286.54 million) in Manipal Hospitals through its NIIF Strategic Opportunities Fund (SOF). The transaction has been signed by both parties and the closing of the transaction is subject to receipt of certain approvals.
Headquartered in Bengaluru, India, Manipal Hospitals operates and manages 6,000 beds across 15 hospitals. Its main focus is to develop an affordable, high-quality healthcare framework through its multispecialty and tertiary care delivery spectrum and further extend it to homecare.
