The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced preferred bidders for the Nigeria Airports Concession Programme (NACP), which involves 4 airports in four Nigerian states Abuja, Kano, Lagos and Rivers.

The Aviation Ministry has selected TAV/NAHCO/PROJECT PLANET LIMITED (PPL) for the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Corporacion America Airports Consortium for the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) and ENL Consortium for the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA). Port Harcourt International Airport (PHIA) did not receive any proposals as of the RFP deadline close on September 19, 2022, and therefore does not have preferred bidders.

The Federal Government will invite preferred bidders to enter into detailed negotiations with its representatives with a view to developing a Full Business Case (FBC), as the program moves on to the negotiations and due diligence stage.
