Nigeria issues EOI seeking advisory services for Inland container depot in Ibadan

Nigerian Shipper's Council (NSC) has issued an expression of interest for the transaction advisory services for the development of the Ibadan Inland dry depot project in Oyo state. This project includes construction and operation of a stacking area, container warehouse, freight station, rail sidings, interchange complex, customs and ICD administrative building complex, car parks, fence, boreholes and water treatment house, firefighting facilities, sewage treatment and pumping plant, powerhouse, and communication facilities.

The port project was proposed by the CRCC Construction Company Limited as an unsolicited Proposal.

The transaction advisory will:

  • provide full business case certificate;
  • provide market trends that will confirm decisions on scope, structure and timing of project;
  • assist in designing of the project work plan, timetable, management of the procurement and evaluation process;
  • preparation of information memorandum and tender documentation;
  • readiness for market assessment;
  • support in project marketing;
  • organization and preparation;
  • preparation of bidding documents, draft concession agreement and assist in negotiating with one or more parties prior to contract award;
  • management of other advisory inputs and overall management of the advisory team;
  • social safeguards and environmental issues.

The deadline to submit the responses is May 28, 2019.
