New tender to be launched for Çukurova regional airport PPP

Çukurova regional airport tender was cancelled after a joint venture of Limak-Kalyon Cengiz İnşaat was eliminated from the tendering process in March. General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ) terminated the winning bid of the Limak-Kalyon Cengiz İnşaat on the grounds of insecurity only conditional offer was submitted.

The project involves construction works for three runways, as well as domestic and international terminals. Build, operate, and transfer (BOT) model was chosen for the procurement.

The DHMI plans to launch the tender once again for the superstructure works as well as operation and transferof Çukurova airport. The tender will be held at the end of October.
