ACME Group has announced a new partnership with KBR Technology for the development of the Hydrogen and Ammonia project in Oman.
The US$3.5 billion project involves the construction of a hydrogen and green ammonia production facility with a capacity of 2,200 metric tonnes. The project will be located in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm. Under the contract, KBR will provide technology license, engineering, proprietary equipment, catalyst and commissioning services for the plant.
The produced green ammonia will be exported to Europe and Asia.
