The Ministry of Public Works (MOP), DGAC and Nuevo Pudahuel have enabled international terminal building and announced a new investment in Santiago Airport, Chile.
The new T2-F building received an investment of US$ 35 million and spans 22,000 square meters, accommodating 10 boarding gates, six commercial establishments, children's play areas, and various services. Additionally, over US$ 32 billion of improvement works will be undertaken on the western runway and apron areas. These enhancements include replacing road surfaces on the speaker platform and temporarily deactivating three boarding bridges in the T2-C building from April to July 2024, followed by another three in the T2-E building from July to September 2024. Alongside the inauguration of the T2-F building, the MOP and Nuevo Pudahuel are collaborating on the opening of the T1-A building, which will introduce eight new boarding gates to the National Terminal.
