The New Hanover County in North Carolina, USA has presented the schematic design for its mixed-use redevelopment Project Grace concession.

Under the concession, the existing downtown public library site will be transformed. The project involves a purpose-built library adjacent to a modern Cape Fear Museum at a thirty-acre site located in downtown Wilmington. The private partner will also build a private retail space on the south side of the block.

LS3P Architecture has acted as technical advisor to the authority and prepared the design as well as project discovery report. The authority is expecting to finish the documentation and start the construction works for the project in early 2022.
