The Ospital ng Parañaque public hospital in the Philippines has announced it will inaugurate new facilities and provide free medical services in August under a public-private partnership (PPP).
Under the PPP contract, a private firm is responsible for the operation of the hospital’s facilities, including the pharmacy and laboratory. The inauguration will include the reopening of the Intensive Care unit, as well as the unveiling of a new CT scan, hemodialysis, and other laboratory facilities. The expenses will be covered by the Philippine Health Insurance Corp., Department of Health and Malasakit Center.
The Parañaque government is also planning to build a new six-story building under the PPP scheme to expand the hospital’s capacity.
