The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) has incorporated the new operation and maintenance project of the National Institute of Children's Health of San Borja (INSNSB) in Peru.

The concession for the Bata Gris and Bata Verde services will last 15 years, with the award planned for 2025. Under the current concession contract, the private operator INSNSB manages the Green Coat services, covering sterilization and clinical pathology, and the Gray Coat services, which involve maintaining buildings, facilities, and electromechanical equipment. This also includes the upkeep of clinical and non-clinical equipment, as well as providing laundry, food, cleaning, and security services. Under the new concession contract design, the private operator will be responsible for replacing the hospital's comprehensive equipment throughout the contract term to ensure uninterrupted service. Additionally, the private operator will manage the warehouses (for both strategic and non-strategic goods), focusing on automation, traceability, loss reduction, and the implementation of good storage practices (GSP) to benefit the pediatric patients of the INSNSB.

The San Borja Children's Health Institute serves pediatric patients from 0 to 18 years of age with highly complex pathologies. It carries out research, teaching and provides health services. It is a national and regional reference center (patients from Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela). It has 254 hospital beds and 59 ICU beds. It has five axes: cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, bone marrow transplants, neonatal/pediatric surgery and treatment of burn patients.
