The Federal Government and CCR have signed a new concession contract for the Presidente Dutra highway and the Rio-Santos stretch PPP project.
CCR has offered a grant of BRL1.77 billion (US$332 million) and a 15.31% discount on the basic toll tariff stipulated in the notice. The concession duration of the project is 30 years with an investment of BRL14.83 billion Capex (US$2.78 billion), operating costs (Opex) of BRL10.9 billion (US$2.04 billion)
The contract includes the development of 591 km of additional lanes and the duplication of 80 km, in addition to 535 bus stops and almost 3 km of tunnels.
