Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) has announced the completion of the 853-m-long Mumatpura flyover in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
After a section of the 853-m-long flyover on the Sardar Patel Ring Road in Ahmedabad collapsed during the stressing process on one of the two spans measuring 48 m each in 2021, the bridge construction has been finalized. The collapsed span was reconstructed, and the bridge underwent five successful load tests before completion. The project aimed to alleviate traffic congestion and improve the flow of vehicles on the Sardar Patel Ring Road.
The project is being executed by the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) and the construction, is undertaken by Ranjit Buildcon Private Limited.
