Multiplex has been appointed by NEXTDC to deliver stage 1 of the 80 MW S3 data centre located in Artarmon on Sydney’s lower North Shore. NEXTDC’s new S3 data centre will see a gross floor area of approximately 34,000 square meters over 8 storeys and deliver more than 20,000 square meters of IT space. This will comprise approximately 26,770 square meters of data halls and ancillary infrastructure.

Designed by architects Greenbox, the project will also include a range of amenities for tenants such as workspaces, collaboration zones, car parking and over 4,000 square meters of office space. S3 Sydney is the third and the largest NEXTDC data centre in Sydney and will be interconnected with the existing S1 and S2 Sydney data centres.
