The Government of Malaysia has appointed Mass Rapid Transportation Corporation (MRT) as the project developer and asset owner for the Mass Rapid Transit 3 (MRT3) Circle Line project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The company expects to raise private funds to finance up to 30% of the project. With a total length of 50 km, the circle line will accommodate 30 stations and 10 interchange stations. Underground routes will make up 40% of the line.
In addition, the notice of Request for Information (RFI) has been published for elevated civil works and stations for the project. The deadline for responses includes two dates for two separated parts:
