MoU signed for Southern Laos railway line

The Government of Laos has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Chinnakorn Civil Public Company in Thailand for the development of a 345 km long railway line which will connect Khammouane, Savannakhet, Salavanh, and Champasack provinces in Southern Laos. Chinnakorn Civil Public Company will provide a feasibility study for the project. An initial feasibility study might take six to ten months to complete.
