MoU signed for Hydrogen and Ammonia production facility in Oman

Acme Solar Holdings Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Development of the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (Tatweer) for the development of green hydrogen and green ammonia production facility with a production capacity of 2,200 metric tonnes. The facility will be located in the Duqm SEZ zone.

The estimated investment value for the project is US$ 2.5 billion. The project will produce hydrogen and ammonia from renewable energy and supply it to Europe, America, and Asia.
